another kind of positive thinking

            I found this on the internet and it's been a week already since I can't get rid of the thought to share it with you, here.
           More often than we think, the events in our lives have the value we give them. This is why, mostly, our happiness depends on how we relate to what's happening to us. Our thoughts dictate the quality of our lives. What do you think about this:
        I'm grateful (thankful):
- to husband/wife that snores every night
          ... because he/she is sleeping home with me, not with somebody else;
- to my teenager daughter that complains about doing the dishes
         ... because it means she's home, not on the streets;
- taxes I gotta pay
         ... because that means I'm employed;
- cleaning up after a party
         ... because that means I've been surrounded by friends;
- for my clothes becoming more tight
         ... because it means I have enough food;
- my shadow
        ... because it means I'm out in the light of the sun;
- the floor and windows that needs to be cleaned up
        ... because it means I have a place to stay;
- all the things people don't like about government I hear
        ... because that means we have the liberty to talk;
- the only empty parking spot I find at the end of the parking lot
         ... because it means I can walk and I've been blessed with a car;
- the noise I have to put up from the neighbors
        ... because that means I can hear;
- the whole lot of laundry to do and clothes to iron
        ... because it means I have clothes to wear;
- the alarm that's waking me up in the morning
        ... because it means I'm still alive;
- and for the e-mails
        ... because it means I have friends who are thinking about me.
     We have so many things to be happy, and still we forget about them. How about reading every morning when you wake up Isaiah 54:10? You'll find there 3 reasons to be thankful to the One that can give us everything it's listed up, and the Only One who can bless us with a positive thinking - Jesus Christ!

For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken," says the LORD, who has mercy on you.(Isaiah 54:10)
